WHAT WE DO
With
a combined experience of over 40 years in shipping, servicing,
restoring and racing classic American vehicles, it has become
apparent that our unique, one-to-one, personal service of handling
every aspect of your import has become more and more popular with
our clients.
What do we do?
Well, simply everything. From the moment you have purchased you
vehicle, whether personally from your preferred overseas dealer,
or via the internet, we will take over. Just sit back safe in
the knowledge that the next time that you see your new possession,
it will be on your driveway, MOT'd (SVA'd
if a new vehicle) registered and taxed, ready to drive and enjoy.
How does this work?
Simple, once you have located your car, or we will we will assist
you with the purchase of your desired vehicle, either a new vehicle
or a historic collector car, then arrange for transportation (either
open or enclosed) to the nearest convenient port of embarkment.
We will deal with all aspects of US or European
departure regulations leaise directly with you regarding your
preferred method of shipment, i.e.: Ro-Ro,
sole use 20' or shared 40' container shipping and arrange marine
insurance.
Prior to arrival in the UK,
we will consult directly with C&E
to have you vehicle accepted as 'historic' (5% vat rate, or if
a new vehicle, complete and submit paperwork for SVA
test). Upon arrival dockside, we consult directly with C&E,
customs clear your vehicle and arrange collection.
The vehicle is then MOT'd at our own workshops (or sympathetically
converted to comply with SVA homologation)
with any failure items rectified, registered with period index
number, cleaned and delivered (if required).
As you can see, this really is a door-to-door service!
